Deccan Odyssey Offers World Class Facilities
Keeping in mind enhancement of tourism in the Konkan route, a joint venture of the
Maharashtra Government and Ministry of Railway has pioneered the Deccan Odyssey.
The journey starts in Mumbai and passes through Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Goa, Belgaum,
Kolhapur, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Ajanta-Ellora, and then back to Mumbai. The
train explores mighty land of Marathas, offering you a glimpse of the royal days
of India. Travel by one of the luxury trains in India to experience the incredible
and unique memories of life.
The journey through the Deccan Odyssey transports you to beautiful lands in India
covered by tranquil beaches and magnificent forts and palaces. The train also carries
you to the finest beaches in Ganapatipule. With its modern facilities that include
air-conditioned restaurant, conference car, gym and business center, the Deccan
Odyssey departs from the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai.
Apart from accommodation, the train provides a separate conference/meeting car known
as 'Samvad' coach where you can organize any small scale or large-scale business
conference within the train. Individuals also can take the delicious taste of food
at the restaurant named as Peshwa I and Peshwa II.
