New Delhi: Congress obviously believes in saying it with flowers. With Sonia Gandhi recovering from a bout of asthma, her supporters are leaving no stone unturned to display their loyalty.
Brijmohan Kishore who is from Sonia’s constituency of Rae Bareili is fully aware of the importance of the photo opportunities, so he thought what better way to catch the media's eye than setting up this flower shop just outside the Congress headquarters.
And with the worth of a leader often weighed in garlands there is no dearth of takers and Brijmohan's stock is flying off the shelves.
“My sale is high because of Madam. When she will be back, it will be better,” says Brijmohan.
Mao once said let a hundred flowers bloom. And for that matter, Democracy in the Congress may be nipped in the bud, but good wishes for Sonia are always in full bloom.
