Rajdhani Express is a fastest Trains in India
Rajdhani Express is a passenger train which connects National Capital of Delhi from
another important destination, especially capitals of States in India. The name
“Rajdhani” itself defines “The Capital” in Hindi language. These trains were commenced
to offer high-speed connections from different railway stations of several state
capitals and important cities to New Delhi in the year of 1969. The speed of the
train depends upon track section, but generally it covers from 140 km/h to 87 km/h.
Fully air-conditioned train, the Rajdhani express offers yummy food along with comforts
to its passengers. According to the time, passengers are served with lunch, tea, breakfast, dinner, et cetera. The train comprises three types of coaches, firstly;
the first class AC includes 2 or 4 berth lockable bedrooms, secondly; the second
class AC 2-tier guarantees regular system of berths with curtains and, thirdly;
the second class AC 3-tier possesses of open system of berths without curtains.
Indian Railways has introduced 15 pairs of Rajdhani Express trains so far. These
trains have provided a few halts, especially popular cities of any state. There
are a number of cities that are served by more than one Rajdhani Express that includes
Kanpur and Mughal Sarai top the list with maximum number of 6 Rajdhani trains serving
each.
