Railways and the Himachal Tourism. Shivalik Deluxe Toy Train plies between the Kalka
and Shimla, Kalka is located on the foot hills of Shivalik Mountain Range and Shimla
is the capital City of Himachal Pradesh. This journey offers scenic beauty to make

This narrow gauge track covers 96 km. The train was introduced in the year of 1903
for making Kalka to Shimla journey incredible. Besides lush green valleys, the Toy
Train passes through beautiful hill stations and scenic beauty. This joyride offers

provide narrow passes and breathtaking beautiful flora and fauna.
This 96 km voyage is popular for its more than 100 tunnels, 919 curves, 20 railway
stations and over 700 non-girder bridges. The train comprises seven coaches that
can carry at least 200 passengers in a single trip. The train acquires up a modest
average speed of 25-30 km throughout its voyage presenting its travelers the lavishness
of the striking valley.
